With the ongoing anti-Asian violence, extreme attacks on our fundamental right to control our bodies, and endless, bold-faced efforts to erase voting rights for communities of color, building political power for Asian American and Pacific Islander women - after so long of being invisible and unseen - is more critical than ever.

This moment calls for bold and deep investment in building the political pipeline for Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) women. AAPIs make up only 0.9% of elected officials nationally. Almost 7 times as many would have to be elected to achieve equal representation.
