My inspiration: My parents are naturalized immigrants who emigrated from Shanghai, China to Massachusetts in the late 1980s in pursuit of the American Dream. While they faced many financial and personal struggles such as low-wage employment and assimilating as minorities, they never gave up hope for a better life. Their diligence, determination, and dedication to any given task have really inspired me to become the person that I am today.
